Noah Leavitt Redesigns HH Courtyard for Eagle Scout Project

Aug 25, 2021

Thank you to BMS 8th Grade Student Noah Leavitt! He worked all summer on his Eagle Scout Project at Herbert Hoover. He reimagined one of the courtyards by creating walking paths, seating areas, planting annuals including a butterfly garden. He also put landscaping cover throughout the courtyard beds using five dump trucks of mulch.

On Wednesday, he shared his journey in the Boy Scouts with students. He then explained the Eagle Scout project, took them on a walking tour and answered questions.

Thank you from the Hoover Hawk community for your vision, creativity and hard work! We will enjoy this area for years to come! #BETTerTogether #BettPride
